WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Write production-grade, security-critical code that forms the foundation of Fordefi’s system—trusted to manage billions of dollars in digital assets.
- Develop and maintain key-management infrastructure, including features such as secure device provisioning, backup and recovery, and key-based device authentication.
- Analyze threat models and design features that provide rigorous security guarantees leveraging established cryptographic primitives and secure hardware enclaves.
- Build mechanisms for authentication, authorization, transaction integrity, and policy enforcement.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- 3+ years of experience in software development (backend or low-level)
- 3+ years in a security-focused engineering role
- Hands-on experience with secure system design, including digital signatures and symmetric/asymmetric encryption
- Strong communication skills and a problem-solving mindset
- Curious, thorough, and a strong team player
Nice to Have
- Experience with AWS KMS, HSMs, or enclaves
- Academic background in cryptography
